Mapal Tooltronic U-Axis Control
6-axis simultaneous horizontal machining center with controlled rotary/swivel table (A/B axis). The B-axis has a swiveling range of 180°, which allows overhead machining so that chips can fall freely downwards.
U-axis = CNC-controlled radial movement of the tool, enabling different diameters of a bore to be machined with one tool in a single operation.
